- Builds dated itineraries with provider-backed Route Legs, explicit buffers, auditable costs, and claim-level evidence.
- Keeps mutable facts linked to their source URL and observation time.
- Uses deterministic verification gates so unknown, stale, unsupported, or infeasible states never count as success.
- Creates read-only Booking Handoffs; it does not claim to complete a purchase.

## Trust model

Travel Better separates Evidence Items, Derived Values, assumptions, and unknowns. A Verified Itinerary is a draft whose required evidence, routes, costs, time windows, and citations pass the planning contract. A model or validator error never becomes a pass.
